Coffee Origins:
Kaveri Coffee's Woodway Estate is located in the Baba Budangiri hills in Karnataka, the birthplace of Arabica coffee in India. Originally established by the British in the 1880s, the farm is now owned and managed by the Hulikere family, who have cultivated coffee here for three generations. Coffee is grown in a biodiverse ecosystem under a thick canopy of old-growth trees that enriches the coffee flavor and maintains the natural forest environment. Woodway Estate has earned a Wildlife Friendly certification for maintaining a healthy population of animal and birdlife on their farms. The Selection 9 variety is unique to India and has long been one of the premier Indian cultivars. We are excited to showcase the distinct flavor profile and beauty of this coffee variety.
