The Kuro "Black" Maitake is a super versatile Fungi. It's much meatier than the Grey Maitake. Both, cultivated indoors.

The one that grows in the Wild, Hen of the Woods, will be available the moment it starts popping up around our region in coming months. There is a fine distinction between the three, and each will take your taste buds in different directions.
